#LoveFromSudan: A Love Letter to South Sudan

I t is with a heavy heart that we send our warm wishes to the people of South Sudan. This video is a message from the people of Sudan to the people of South Sudan. No politics, no games. A heart to heart message to a new beginning.

I would like to thank every single person who contributed to this. Many people didn’t make the cut and I apologize for that. We couldn’t have the video run forever and had to sacrifice some submissions.

I would also like to thank Hisham for working tirelessly over the past two nights and putting up with my relentless checks on progress every hour (sometimes more). The music you hear in the background is his creation as well. There are several technical glitches in the video which are beig worked and will be corrected (and re-uploaded). But in the interest of time, I wanted to release this now. Because, at the end of the day, this is not a technical exercise.

So here, to a new beginning. May you learn from our mistakes and may we learn from ours.
